The region of Puglia is located on the heel of the Italian Peninsula and is bordered by the Adriatic Sea, Ionian Sea and the Gulf of Taranto to the East and South and Molise, Compania, and Basilicata to the North and West. It is one of the richest archaeological regions in Italy and was first colonized by the Mycenaean Greeks.

This region produces 40% of Italy’s olive oil with 4 (PDO) Protected Designation of Origin zones. Puglia is a land of fascinating history, dramatic landscapes and curious architecture.
